April Boyd-Noronha is the Chief Engagement Strategist at The STEM Broker, LLC, where she serves as the STEM Ecosystem Advisor to companies and industry professionals. She is a popular keynote speaker and sought after thought leader on emerging trends, new technologies, and the future of learning and work, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, virtual reality, and innovation.


As a Professor at the University of Saint Mary, in Leavenworth, Kansas, she teaches courses in Health Information Management, Cybersecurity, and Computer Information Systems. She looks forward to expanding her research on the intersection of social impact technology and inclusion.

 

April’s 4th and upcoming book “The Diary of a STEM Black Woman” is a collection of personal reflections and experiences that chronicle her life lessons in pursuit of happiness as a woman in STEM – from being raised in the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri to becoming a College Professor.
